Well 2 weeks is up tomorrow!!! Going to stick a few in the fridge tonight and crack the first one tomorrow afternoon. I know I should use a clean chilled glass - anything else? Will let you know my success or failure.

Now I have my second brew down - where can I buy another 30 PET bottles? How much are they? Also, I am going to put some of this brew into 2L coke bottles. Just think it would be easier to have a few mates over and then grab a 2 litre bottle. Has anyone done this? If so, does it work?

so the fact my brew tasted ok at bottling will hopefully mean it will taste ok in a few weeks?

Once more thing - all my newly brewed bottles are being stored in a dark cool spot except for 2 bottles which I put in my beer fridge after 2 days. What should I expect from them once they are ready to open?

So is the colour/taste at bottling a good indicator of the beer quality down the track? Can you normally expect a bad beer is the colour/taste isn't great at bottling stage?

First brew update - bottled on Saturday - OG remained steady for 3 days. I tasted samples and they tasted like warm, flat beer so that's a good start i guess. Brew seemed to be quite clear with a good aroma. Now the hard part - waiting 2 weeks........................
