About to pick my first crop of hops but wondering how other people dry them? I was thinking of putting them on a flyscreen and keeping them in the shade as much as possible but how do I know when they are dry enough to seal in a glad bag and store? Any suggestions for any process after picking...

I've got all my hops at my parents place and they are heading to perth for four weeks. I might be able to get someone to drop in halfway through their trip but otherwise they are very much out of everyone's way, including me (300km round trip). Has anyone got any ideas how to keep them alive...
