    Gas Per Boil?

    I recon i get 3 -4 boils tops, out of my 9kg bottle.$15 - $21 buck depends where i go for refill. 4 Ring burner........ Not enough for my liking :angry: , going to get set up with the big ass gas bottle like the one up the side of my house (heating) one day. :P

    What are you brewing?

    Wednesday will be 30 litre batch of Wheat Beer ! I will filter 10L(Krystal) and compare. 70% wheat 30% ale in my 60L fermenter. About 15 IBU hallertauer pellets, and the stir plate is whizzing yeast as i speak.

Yes, a year or more is the go for maturation ( 3yr ) was the best i tasted so far, and it will definately be fermented in plastic not the barel...

    efjay, Grab yourself some carbonation drops (lollies) from your hbs. Saves measuring sugar and its just as simple as droping a lolly in a bottle. Make sure your beer is fermented right out,and no chance of a bomb (unless infection gets ya ) Oh, one lolly per longneck ! cheers
