Always sad to see another brewer stop. Whatever the reason.
I wish you all the best Kirk.
I have one of your EKG babies doing well in the yard.

Have not brewed for months.
Got up this morning and was inspired.
Cracked 5 kg of marris otter and 500gm melanoidin, basically the first grains I could find.
56 gms Cascade 60 mins and 56 gms Saaz at 30.
I call it beer.

Hi Hashie,
You should also try and take as much of the rootstock as well.
What you suggested sounds good.
Also by the time you get to Bendigo in January the cold weather should just be starting. :P
Here are mine when I moved them a while back...
I've got one in a cube that has been sitting there for over 4 months. I am a bit wary of fermenting it as I usually brew in the first 2 weeks of doing a no chill.
I have nearly thrown it on the compost heap a couple of times.

lol..just had a look at mt POR out the front. I have bareley glanced at it this year so far.
I have not put any support up for it yet and it is starting to support itself, growing upwards.
Starting to look like a hedge.

mmmm....lots of nice looking beers.
:icon_offtopic: And I have to agree with Tony about the POR. I have never used pellets but fresh flowers are awesome.
I have bittered to about 30 IBU, as well as other levels with fresh POR flowers and the results were nothing like what I expected after...
Awesome stuff Bill. An excellent idea, a co-op hop exchange sort of thing going with the Hop Exchange Database. I too have hops to give away every now and then and may join up to post them, plus some more would always be good.
I did post some time back that in the years to come craftbrewers...
My plants are up but considering they follow their botanical cousins flowering cycle I do not anticipate any signs of flowers yet. And a harvest in April hopefully.

Still no takers on this?
Yes Cortez, for the brewing community :) . I can't brew at the moment and I would rather pass it on than use it for bird seed. It is perfectly good malt.
and thats a fact jack...
*rubs hands with glee*
I'll get you hooked on the good stuff.
LOL
