Is the sign pressed or flat, stickers or printed?. There are sources for them online and I think you can also submit designs which is why you see stores full of junk signs at Vic market. I bought a bunch of aged flat printed ones when I was in the UK, which looked better than the crappy ones...

If you are worried about the smell then I assume you guys add the while starter to the fermenter when it's ready. Do none of you decanter the starter? Have any of you smelled the starter once its been on a stirplate for 24 hours? Cardboard!

After doing a brew, cleaned the vessel and leaving for a week and a half, the whole pot is still perfect with no evidence of corrosion or damage. I will honestly say though that having the markings made it sooooo easy for this latest brew, hitting all numbers perfectly! I might have preferred...

This will not work because your top screen won't be held in place when doing a small batch and is likely to be pushed up higher than the slits, releasing the grain...
