Wouldn't it mean you'd have to write (or print) the alpha on the bags, instead of buy thousands of bags in bulk to save time? I can't see why KL couldn't label the exact alpha, if the customer demands it. I for one wouldn't buy hops within an alpha range when I spend money on specialist...
