    Victoria's Secret: Where to buy?

This seems to only say "2013". (last paragraph) http://www.barthhaasgroup.com/johbarth/images/pdfs/HPA%20Crop%20Report%202012.pdf

    Victoria's Secret: Where to buy?

HI All, Looking over the GABF Hop Jockey recipe, it's the first one I've come across that calls for Victoria's Secret hops. My usual merchants don't stock them - anyone able to recommend to me either someone in Melbourne that's stocking them and/or someone that'll ship them to me?

    Geelong Beer Festival

Enjoyed the festival. Was great to see such a great turn out. Lines were a little long at times, especially for food. Token system should've been enforced a little harder to help keep lines down. Was a bit disappointed at the lack of info about the homebrew comp - I overheard someone mention...

    Element for keg-based BIAB rig

I have one of the big KegKing elements through the side of my keg for BIAB. It's not perfect, but I make it work. I have a heat shield on it (old cake cooling tray or something) to prevent bag burns and I've never had one, despite doing stepped mashes and stuff. The element does tend to have...

    Cider Yeast?

Took another reading on day 10. Not a lot more movement - down to 1.020. I think I'm going to put it to one side of the brewfridge and ignore it for a couple of weeks and keep on fermenting other things. I've got three cubes backed up that need some fermenter time - wasn't expecting my cider to...

    Melbourne Brewers Beerfest, 2013

I plan on entering my first comp(s) this year - a quick question, is it in the spirit of the competition that what I enter has been brewed with the competition in mind, or is something I've been aging for a while perfectly acceptable?

    best way to carbonate gingerbeer

I've never had much success in rushing carbing like that. Pouring pressure (70-90kpa for my system) for about 8 days and it's perfect though.

    Noobie Here

I'll disagree with the others and encourage you to drink your brew as often as you like. Especially within your first few brews, the more you taste your beer the more you'll understand about each process and how your beer ages. Go nuts.

Brew Brite - 2nd Attempt Worked A Treat

I think there's still some benefit. After your secondary/keg you'll still have clearer beer. I agree with Felten though that you're undoing most of the work that the brewbrite has just done for you.

    Cider Yeast?

Yeah, was hoping to have it in the keg and on its way to being carbed in time for a BBQ tomorrow, but at this rate I'm not even going to take another grav reading until next Wednesday (day 13) and see how I'm going.

    Cider Yeast?

1.040? I measured 1.050. It was down to 1.020 yesterday (day 6) which I thought was a little on the slow side.

    Calcium Sulphate 101

I welcome more posts on brewing salts - I've just started playing with them in the last six months. . I'd suggest you have another skim over your post though, it's a little difficult to follow.

    DIY Dual Regulator

Thanks guys. Bit hesitant to pull a reg apart but I'll order a joiner and give it a go.

    No bubbles yet from brew....

It's also possible to waste a lot of beer if you're taking grav readings all the time :) Agree with other sentiments. Stop mucking about with your beer - it's probably fine. Stop trusting the airlock. It's not a good indication of fermentation and it's an even worse indication of lack of...

Temp control 2 fermenters in a chesty Advice

I reckon you might be over thinking it. I regularly ferment two beers in the same fridge with the same controller. I undershoot my target by 1 degree and 1 degree of variance so it'd be pretty much spot-on I reckon and I don't think poking probes into my beer is worth the >1degree accuracy it'd...

    DIY Dual Regulator

Hey Gang I have two Tesuco regulators that look like this guy Is there any way I can combine them and thus have two pouring pressures? Seen lots of post on other regs, but not these cheap guys.
