I bought a two stage filter today to do exactly this. Shower head removed and converted to garden tap nipple in bathroom closest to brewery. Bunnings "Food Grade' hose from there to two stage water filter -> keggle.

So is this drill really the cheapest option? I already have a cordless drill so whatever I buy will be on permanent attached-to-mill duties. Is there not some little motor out there that does what we want without the $90 outlay and inconvenience of the drill? I thought I saw some of you guys...

I was in Germany over December and January and saw Corny kegs everywhere - from out in the streets serving lagers at Christmas markets to piles of them in pubs, bars and breweries. Definitely very much still in active use in .de.

Tried that. My club appears to be somewhat disorganised and events have a day or two's notice if they're advertised at all. Seem to be a lot of very old sub-groups within the club that are hard to break into as a club-newbie. Events don't always seem to be advertised or even open to club noobs...
