Gas check valves with MFL fittings

Has anyone ever seen gas check valves, with 1/4" NPT to 1/4" MFL fittings on them, sold in Aus? I can see quite a few available in the land of the obese and free, but nothing locally (or even via China in fleaBay/aliexpress). For reference, here's what I'm looking for -...

Nitro Beer Gas - Non Rental

Well, you've certainly sparked my interest... How will this work, they're going to set up a special pool for AHB? So we all need to get in at once, then work from there?

A quick survery for those who have never entered a homebrew comp

All the comps I've seen (in Melbourne) are fine with PET bottles and regular PET caps. No need for anything expensive or even mucking about with bottling glass bottles. Where abouts were the requirements in glass capped bottles?

A quick survery for those who have never entered a homebrew comp

I'm interested in seeing the results for entry fees being a barrier for entry. That is an area we have a fair amount of flexibility with, as suggested above, and other "creative" ways of dealing with it. I would pose a follow up question to whoever finds the entry fees high, are they expensive...

A quick survery for those who have never entered a homebrew comp

There are a couple of problems I keep hearing when soliciting this kind of feedback in our club, and amongst my friends. First off is the logistics of it all. We (the clubs running these comps) need to make sure the entrants get plenty of notice so they actually have time to brew the beer. Then...

3 piece valves... worth the extra cost?

My understanding was the 2 piece valves were torqued at the factory for a good seal, and pulling it apart means you need to get that right torque doing it back up again, otherwise you'll either end up with too tight a valve, or leaks.

    Keg King plumbing fittings

I've got a fair amount of KK gear as well, can't save I've ever had any issues with their stainless stuff. Push in fittings and intertaps are a little crappy though. I'm surprised you say KK is cheaper, wondering where you're comparing to here? I know I can get stuff of ebay/alliexpress for a...

    Belgian Beerfest 2017

Well, it looks like the scores of the Saisons are still wrong (at least the published scores), so I would have through they'd need to get that fixed up before contacting winners... FWIW, Our club announced the winners internally, for our members, so maybe they thought all other clubs were doing...

Are Mongolian Burners Still Sooty On Low Flame?

I was planning the same thing, just without welds, cause (still) no welder. Had a bit of a design in mind mainly to kinda hang the burner on a shelf below the kettle, via some threaded rod. That way I can dial in the exact right height for it instead of relying on pre-cut/made sections.

Are Mongolian Burners Still Sooty On Low Flame?

Well, considering this thread has been phoenixed, related question. What are people using for stands with these burners? I'm using some refractory bricks to hold up my kettle. Works quite well, but it's a bit of a hassle to set up and pull down. I'm wanting to create a more semi-permanent brew...

Keg King $10 in line regulator as a secondary reg.

I've got 2 of the Micromatic ones, because I was sick of waiting for the KK ones to come back into stock. They work alright, problem is they don't have check valves, so you need to add those somewhere along the line, making the system more complicated. They also use push in fittings (like the...

Merri Mashers IPA Comp 2017 Awards and Prizes

Yeah, we certainly tried for that, unfortunately it didn't get over the line this year. Lots of interest from sponsors, but very little seemed keen to just give us a cheque. But, hey, there's always next year to give another go!
