    Keg King Intertap

About to purchase a KK series 4. Have decided to go with the Intertap 3 font setup. I am tossing up between regular SS and the SS flow-control. I am leaning towards FC just to simplify things and be able to change the pour flow on the fly. Also, anyone have experience with the intertap stout...

    Experience With Wyeast 1968

3rd time I have used 1968. Used it when I originally brewed but after a 4 year lay off I am doing it properly and now have a flask and stir plate for building the correct amount of cells to pitch. Anyways, had a 1.2L starter on the plate for 26hrs and it was floccing hard when I turned it off...

Dodgy email supposedly from CraftBrewer - beware

Yep, some of them seem very legit/official. I get a chuckle out of them but feel bad for the many unwitting users who click along with them :(

Lallemand/ Danstar London ESB Dry yeast

I was doubtful so I sent Morgan's a FB message. The social media person wasn't very helpful but said it was any Wyeast strain! "This might sound odd, but I don't know the exact strain of yeast this is. I do know for sure it's not a dried wyeast strain though. Sorry I couldn't be more specific."

Lallemand/ Danstar London ESB Dry yeast

Is that right? So Morgan's Premium Ale is the dried version of 1968? I didn't know that, but would be great if true.

Mangrove Jack's Strawberry & Pear Cider stuck at 1.020

How's it taste JFergz? I have this same cider aging in the cupboard. Not much of a cider drinker but will be handy when the GF is visiting. From memory my fermenter tastes were positive but thought it was sweet. I think I was worried about bottle bombs but apparently it's the additive you add...

    Different wort aeration kits

Hi Bribie. Have you noticed an improvement in taste with your aerated beers compared to non? Other than fasting starting and finishing? Cheers.

DIY Dog - recipes for every brewdog beer ever made

Wow! What a great thing to do! Good on them! I have been leaning towards re-entering home brewing the last few month. Even have my cart full on CBer, just haven't finished catching up on the home brew scene etc as much as I would have liked. After seeing 5am Saint and Zeitgeist on there, I am...

    Low Carb Home Brew

I don't mind it at all :) Do you have a dry and low carb recipe? Plus the gf drinks cider and if I can brew something we can both enjoy even better! :D Thanks mate.

    Low Carb Home Brew

Great to hear mate, well done! It's got like that for me as well. I even considered getting some Galaxy hops from CBer and putting them into my bigheads lol! This thread has been great! Thanks so much, plenty to take on board and plan the first brew! A lot of me getting back into it is being...

    Low Carb Home Brew

I should have stated in my original post that I am not interested in people trying to state diet related advice. I know what works for me, I have shed 75kg and counting since I last posted a thread on here about my last all grain brew day some 4 years ago. I couldn't care less about the calorie...

    Low Carb Home Brew

Thanks for the reply Digga! :) I am assuming that the decarb kits come with a dry enzyme to ensure they are correct with the low sugar in their nutritional values. I don't know why the link didn't work...
