    Braumeister - Tips & Tricks

Looks the goods, if they did a combo price with a barb & tube i'd grab it now with some other things to make it worthwhile (even better if they stocked the header to correct the size). That's why i like some the US places, they do batch disounts. ie, buy valve, barb, bulkhead (if needed) & tube...

    Braumeister - Tips & Tricks

I trimmed mine just a little to allow mico movement. I watch the BM cycle in on the pump, and can see the top filter & mesh with the rubber seal moving up and butting on the crossbar. Works fine, tight fit though i kept it just tight enough taking mm off at a time with a blade.

    Matilda Bay Alpha Pale Ale

M/B used to pour the alpha & beez neez in tall clear tubes packed with hops for the apa & honeycomb for the beez neez. I remember many a day at the Toxteth enjoying this. Good times. SNPA is my money though :)

    Braumeister - Tips & Tricks

I have one of them from Mark, he includes them in with the buy along with some other extra bits. Ran it on the more recent brews, does the trick without question fits dead on between elements.

Hmm i would like to change the tap on mine to something i am more used to... http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-2-threaded-3-Pie...=item4163b8e6b5 Seems like the go. With the valve above, and the reduction fitting Malted will i be good to go?

    Oak Barrels

$150 - $300 is not uncommon for full size barrels. They are often sort after for gardens, designers etc. Though, a place not looking to sell to these people often let them go in the $50 area. The last one i got was $50, 2 prior to that free. Came with free redbacks too :s

    Using Willow 'jerrys' As Fermenters

The above parts listing is about spot on. There is one of the heavy duty o-rings on the iside of the nut which has the o-ring space on it. On the outside there is a very soft, think o-ring which is deformed under the flange to give outer protection. In the future i'd prob ditch the outer ring...

Wig And Pen Up For Sale

Blue Mountains would be nice for the tourist coin. Leura perhaps? Though, speaking of locations i am always amazed that somwhere like Cockatoo Island in the harbour doesn't have something happening. So many large, industrial warehouses with cheap[ish] commonwealth sub'd rent. Funky cafe / food...

Rogue Yeast, In More Ways Than One...

While dipping your head into your fresh wort might be a thing of the future i prefer to gainthe wild ferment properties something of the following rather than just late wet dogging the wort.

Lion To Purchase Little World Beverages

While i am not doubting there are more SB's to come, i doubt they have entire stability in the longrun. Someone like Lion Nathan is more likely to place funds in consistancy and return. Short run SB products don't match that. I'm sure they will be there in the future in some form.

Coopers Tallies For Sale - Brisbane

Seems to be a bit of a trend, in particular to Coopers 750ml bottles. Many on premise locations around me have them over the bar, and i can easily see them using hundreds a week.

    Using Willow 'jerrys' As Fermenters

It's perfect. I was wanting to use a bung and blowoff, but lack of needed information and the variation in internal neck size stopped me. This works a treat. Get an extra cap / sacrifice, you will destroy one the first time.

    Using Willow 'jerrys' As Fermenters

Finished the design for the B/O assembly for the willows. Pics below. Water tight, no leaks overnight test. External o-ring is additional to the large heavy duty inner ring. Used a dremmel to punch through initial material, then a sanding cylinder to match it up. From there, i used a thin flexi...
