    Broo Beer Franchises

Me too. I'm pretty sure it was exclusive. Now, it seems to have gotten the kick, somebody has picked it up and is flogging beer related money to punters without a clue. 1. $50k! 2. ???? 3. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I guess with the adpoted methadology of carnival sales, it'll do well...

    Coopers Celebration Ale

Booooooooooooooooooooo i wanted a 5L cask of strong ale for the 150th celebration. God almighty, and it's in 355ml bottles only. What happened to the 375ml, Coopers? Do they now have 330ml, 355ml, 375ml & 750ml in the range? Grrr.. Well, i'll at least try it as it's a new beer.

    Using Willow 'jerrys' As Fermenters

Thanks, I'll let the BM drop to 90C after the boil before i run it off. I run starsan for everything, never had a problem and the jerrys don't have any drilled tap bungs (going to use siphon). Whenever i did NC cubes i always overfilled them to the lid and then let a bit go (100ml or so). So 0...

    Sydney Brewers

I use on a regular basis; Craftbrewer - Solid selection, great amount of specialty grain, yeasts etc. They set the mark when it comes to online ordering. Daves Home Brew - Great all-rounder, i only shop in store though (easy to jump the M30 up from Newtown and have a stroll). ESB - Good online...

    Beersmith 2.1 Nearly Here!

No chill option, and adding more profiles for popular setups. BIAB is a good addition, some more off the shelf options (ie BM's & brew magic) would be good.

    Using Willow 'jerrys' As Fermenters

Went with the willows from kmart. Waiting for reply from G&G for bung sizing to use for blow off tubes. Do people NC into these 20L willow carry/jerry cans, are they ok with 90c - 100c? Read about the expanding gas problem with napisan etc. Thanks for that.

    Using Willow 'jerrys' As Fermenters

That blue one is what i am thinking of, 2 of them would be perfect. Is it a willow or something else? Should i head to kmart, bunnings?

    Using Willow 'jerrys' As Fermenters

Thanks all. I will pick up 2 of these for future batches. I'm going with a blowoff tube, it's all i've known. I'll measure the ID of the jerry with some calipers when i get them, and order a set of bungs and some tube. Cheers,

    Using Willow 'jerrys' As Fermenters

So just to clarify, are more people using the cubes of the jerrys? Could you post a link to which one your using? I'm going to go pick up 2 when i've got a good idea what i'm after. Cheers,

    Using Willow 'jerrys' As Fermenters

I currently have a better bottle as my only fermenter. Simply, it's not keeping up. Kegs are getting torn apart and i'm having backlog. This must be stopped, more beer must be served. I'm also short on space. Very short. Any additions would need to take up only slightly more room than the BB...

Urn - Two Thousand Machinery Co

Just put the extra cash in and get a proper urn. Those cheap ones. Well. Sure, they could be good there is some merit to it. On the most part, and given users hard feedback.... the extra is well worth it for a crown or birko. I'm sure if you order 100 or 1000 units they will put whatever...

Using An Urn For Brew In A Bag - Tutorial

When doing BIAB i alwayes hoisted the bag up with a skyhook and left it there for a good hour or so while the urn ramped right up. At this time, even squeezing it gave little output. As for the hop bag, i used one to reduce clean times and trub / rubbish. Would do again.

    Braumeister Profile - Beersmith 2

Thanks for that. I added those values under a saved profile. For the mash profile shown, are you doing any active sparge? If i apply it to a saved recipe under the equipment it shows; Adjust Temp for Equipment: TRUE Mash PH: 5.20 Mash Steps Name Description Step Temperature Step Time Mash In...

    Braumeister Profile - Beersmith 2

If you can't download it, take a screenshot and post the image. Any help would be great. Also, do you, or anybody else have mash profiles ready to rock and roll in BS2? I'm going from BIAB to BM and am wondering if i should just use a simple infusion from the start, then move on to step mashes...

    Braumeister Profile - Beersmith 2

I've had a dig around, over the forums and beersmiths website etc. Has anybody got a solid equipment profile sorted for the 20L system? I want to set up bs2 prior to the system arriving. Had some hope there would be an official equipment profile download but i can't seem to find one. Any help...

    Keg King Elements

All it would take is 1 person to make an issue out of it with somebody like a federal safety body and i'm sure things would change quick.

    Selling Your Beer

A friend of mine recently called and asked about homebrew specific laws from OLGR (NSW). The below is the basics of it and assumes you do not have a company, ABN and reside in NSW. That is, a homebrewer. Though some laws are federal. You can NOT sell your beer to anybody. You can NOT profit in...
