    15l Stovetop Herms

No can do at the moment but will look into the PID. "Brewery" - (esky MT, keggle boiler, urn - HEX and pump) - has been dismantled and stored under the house whilst my new brewshed is being built - Yay! Will post pics of the brewshed and setup when completed.

    15l Stovetop Herms

Great work Tim. I use a cheapy 8L urn as my HEX, the coil just sits in it with the tubing coming out of the top. Got the same pump - it works an absolute treat. Would like to get a PID for temp control instead of my temp mate. Looking forward to the next instalment.

    Bucket Of Death

The ball valve is a good suggestion. I have done it in my BoD - makes it easy to control the flow of hot water. Also have mine on a timer attached to a temp controller so that strike water is ready when I'm about to mash in. Insulation is the next step - thanks for the idea Sammus.

    Aeration

Shake it. Works well for me. This article - http://cdn2.libsyn.com/basicbrewing/Aerati...7c0774ec62bf230 reaches an interesting conclusion that oxygen can be quickly dissolved into wort with rocking/shaking.

Have to agree...One of the best beers I've made... didn't last long at all and too many of my mates were drinking it. Must do another ASAP. Great work Argon.
