Now I seem to be brewing a bit more lately, I have run out of places to stick the brews. If it hasnt gone ahead i'll buy a couple of each.

I'm stuck between weizen and cervoise. Worst case scenario i'll grab 6 of each.

Yep, When I was living in Young last year, the local Dick smith/HBS sold all sorts of girly drinks. I had a peach cooler on tap for the other half at one stage. :blink:

I wouldn't like to be carrying pickling paste in a non approved container, the stuff burns like nothing else and your hands turn yellow after contact. Best bet is to get a fab shop to pickle it for you.

Also they don't fit them at the factory because there are so many different types of 240 and 115v plugs for every country. The only critical wire to get right is the earth. The other two will work whichever way, it is just good practice to keep the active and neutral in the respective colours.

I'm toying with the idea of a hybrid herms/ direct heated setup. Direct heat for the big steps, then from alpha to beta amylase steps use the herms. Seeing as Lion nathan have me ticked off ATM i'd be stealing their kegs for the project ;) (insert tongue in cheek here). At least this setup...

it would make good cladding if u wanted to insulate another pot or keg to use as a mash tun.
