Sheaf Stout Is The Best Value Aussie Brew

Gets a pretty respectable B rating over at Beer Advocate. http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/353/1992 Invalid Stout is another decent one from CUB.

    Brewcraft Bag-out

Not sure if I mentioned it before, but have you tried the ESB Ezybrew version of JSAA? They are 4.5 litres of fresh wort. Or a "mini mash" I think you call it. I've got that, their Little Creatures Pale Ale and their Hoegaarden clones in kegs right now and they are pretty close. I think they...

    Keg Mate

I reckon the flat door version is exactly the same. Same pump and all.

    Brewcraft Jsaa

I haven't tried the Brewcraft but the ESB Ezybrew version is very close to the original. Costs $34. http://www.esbeer.com.au/category17_1.htm

    Keg Mate

Had another look at mine today as I was changing the font and moving it away from the garage door, where it collected dust. Mind you, I bought this on Ebay but not from "dreamrider_store", though I suspect it's the same fridge. It came with a 2 tap font with chrome Cellli style taps, 2 50L keg...

    Draught Kegs At Dans

You can do it quite easily with one of these... http://www.midwestsupplies.com/products/Pr...spx?ProdID=4906 I've got one myself but reckon I've only ever used it once.

    Keg Mate

I got the flat stainless door job from Ebay. I asked the seller and he did say it was a Keg Mate. I'll check the warranty when I get home from work and see if it's the same as yours.

Soft Drink On Tap? Will It Work?

This stuff? http://www.phoenixorganics.co.nz/WhatWeDo/...cts/Browse/ID/2 A few good ones there. Would love to try the Creaming Soda. Edit: It seems they even tell you how to make the Ginger Beer. http://www.phoenixorganics.co.nz/files/Con...eer_project.pdf

    Ebay, Gumtree and FB Marketplace

I was watching a black four tap ceramic font last week and was very surprised to see no mention of it here, though some here may have bid on it. I got it in the end, and promptly cracked a portion of the ceramic as I was unpacking it :( Should be able to fix it though.

Which Commercial Kegs Can You Legally Own?

There's no mention of needing to buy 10 on the front page, where the $149 50L keg is shown. He's got a few pallets worth. I'm sure he'd let you buy just one. I'd probably get one myself if I didn't already have a 40 odd litre ball lock keg. For the others mentioned under the "kegs" section, he...

    Beer In My Reg.

It's not really that hard and after a few goes it's very easy. It's just a matter of the regulator stopping at around 140-160kPa. There's a bit of leeway there. I get it pretty much spot on these days but I actually stop closer to 190kPa myself. Then, rather than waiting a while before I pour...

    Medicine Taste

Spend a little extra and buy a snap tap. They are designed to come apart for easy cleaning and will last ages. Cost about 8 bucks or thereabouts.

http://www.qualityhomebrew.com/store/comer...asp?idProduct=6 or the 12L http://www.qualityhomebrew.com/store/comer...p?idProduct=908 Compared to your typical Cornelius keg, they are shorter but fatter. Lots of other places have them. http://www.google.com.au/search?hl=en&...=cr%3DcountryAU

    Portable Co2 Keg Charger

They work fine, you just need to squeeze the trigger every now and then to keep the pouring pressure up. You've also got to watch out for people, mainly drunk ones, that squeeze the trigger too long. A better idea, but much more expensive, is one of these...
