Continuing Rant Thread - Get it Off Ya Chest here

Tongue in cheek , satire, ****, surely there's a bit of crossover, but anyway he made it pretty clear in his response to Technobabble that he was making his comment deliberately absurd and that's what came across to me.

I interpreted Danscraftbeer's comment as tongue in cheek the moment I read it. Maybe I need to go looking for offensiveness in things a bit harder.

Stepped mash using Crown urn BIAB - ashtray flavour

I used to do a similar thing, but instead cable tied a s/s scourer to a cut down broom handle. Worked a farking treat. Often did stepped mashes in my urn.

    Lauter Helix.

I really like that idea. It looks like 2 reducers joined together. If so, how are they joined? Something like this? Also, are they pressed to fit tightly onto the Lauter Helix, or do they just push in?

Novice after some tips about the KK Series 4 Kegerator

Ho-Lee Far King Sheet. There could be some really good buys amongst that lot. 50 litre s/s jacketed fermenters, carbonating kegs, 20 litre and 50 litre kegs etc. Someone starting a small scale craft brewery could do well to attend.

Novice after some tips about the KK Series 4 Kegerator

Going back a few years ago there was a discussion about U-Brew-It and if my memory serves me correctly, what you say is pretty much exactly what was stated back then.

20 Litre Crown Urn, Sunshine Coast

Nice pick up if you get it Insensate. Precisely what I was looking for a couple of months ago. Couldn't find a secondhand one, so ended up forking out for a new 20 litre Apuro urn

    Keg Fridge Issue

Putting a fan in your fridge will help with air circulation. I have one of these in each of my fridges, they have 3 speeds, mine are on lowest setting and they push the air around really well. You'll need to buy a longer USB cable

Come on, we've all been there..

Maybe that's where the term 'glory hole' originated.

    Lauter Helix.

Thanks for that Tony. Just wonder how the silicone would go being in constant contact with the element, especially during a 90 minute boil.

    Got myself a Mill

Need my eyes tested. I read it as Got myself a milf.

The best bargain you have bought

If he was local, one thing you probably wouldn't need to be concerned about is how much beach work it had done.

The best bargain you have bought

Don't see too many of that era on the road. Second hand parts should be easy to find, plenty in wrecking yards.

Yeah they **** me too. Not these folks though, I could sit behind them all day, or until they finish upside down on the side of the highway. Which shouldn't take too long.

Looks like a nice place to take a caravan.

    Ahb Articles: Kegerator

Zombie thread revival alert. Did this mod to my kegerator recently but also extended the probe wire so that it could be tucked up against a cold keg, rather than reading the air temp. It should prevent the compressor kicking in as often, especially if the fridge door is left open when changing...

Continuing Rant Thread - Get it Off Ya Chest here

Just my experience over about 35 years of driving and witnessing how poorly motorcyclists and truck drivers conduct themselves on the roads. Not all of them though, but enough of them to see a pattern.
  18. Black Devil Dog

Continuing Rant Thread - Get it Off Ya Chest here

Motorcyclists often weave dangerously in and out of traffic, very often within centimetres of other vehicles and also ride at insane speeds around town and on open roads. A lot of truckies have a bullying attitude to other road users. They seem to have a 'might is right' mentality and drive...

Continuing Rant Thread - Get it Off Ya Chest here

There are bad drivers everywhere and some caravanners are often oblivious to other road users, but motorcyclists and truckies are easily the most dangerous road users of all.
