Yeah its not a problem, but if you rack, either to secondary or to a bottling bucket, you do what QldKev does and put an irrigation filter in the line. I do that. Its great. Someone or other suggested it here on this forum.

Yep. It started 30mins ago with the breaching of the keg. Tomorrow there is a parade that comes right up to where we are so we will go and have a captains. SWMBO has her Wies'n Herz on and her dirndl and HWMBO is off the tents etc. on Friday. I'm not sure if we'll go. There are cheap family...

That's not very nice is it? But I think it must be an IP thing. If you asked him what the malt bill was for the kit you wouldn't expect him to answer that would you? But if I were a kit manufacturer and needed a lager yeast that every silly could get a good result with I'd go for the safale...

Well the fermenter goes on the ground right? And if you use the same vessel for HLT and kettle then its 2 tiers + the ground. That's what I'm planning .. but it wont have any bling factor at all.

Lovely .. as a matter of interest .. how do you get the wort into you fermenter? Do you lift it up before running through the chiller?
