Crikey, a bit pricey and it doesn't include the pressure kit. I was reading that a fermenter needs 40 to 60% head space for ales less for lagers. So is the 27 litre just for small batches?

Well my pump will not be good for that its a small mag drive, just had a look on line 14,000 litres per hour, certainly got some grunt.

Is this a photo of the secondary because my first use is looking much the same? I probably left almost twice as much lees (is it called that in beer?) in the primary and it is now clearing nicely. I will be using PVPP for the first time just to get everything to drop out.

I have questioned this same product, if it has a CE approval it will most definitely need an AU/NZ certification, Keg Land say it has approval though no evidence has been given, just have to take their word for it.

I like this method, I have a two door fridge so I can transfer easily from one Fermener to the other leaving the yeast behind, from there it can either go down the drain or harvested much the same way most breweries transfer to the bright tank.

Electrical appliances come under consumer guarantee but it isn't one size fits all, each case will be taken on its own merit. The retailer can offer a warranty on any defective parts which may be incorporated in the said item, in the case of the Guten it is 2 years, certainly makes it easier...

I am about to do my 5th brew on the Guten have found it to perform exceptionally well, never had any grain escape the mash tun, and also have peace of mind of that the Guten comes with a 2 year warranty.
