    Conical fermenter cooling

Plug first: https://aussiehomebrewer.com/threads/fs-110l-conical-unitank-commercial-skope-fridge-melbourne.99505/ The fridge method allows me to cool beer down to about 1.5 degrees, something I'm struggling with on my glycol setup although I'm sure I'll get it dialled in eventually. I do lift...

    KegLand Questions and Answers

Bollocks, now my plan doesn't work! I hate when companies do this. Is it bigger or smaller than the 2.1mm?

Thanks for checking for me, much appreciated! What a bugger that is... I might have an interim plan though.

    KegLand Questions and Answers

Thanks for the reply, it looks like I have these scenarios covered. I bought two bottles of glycol from you guys when I bought the g40. The connectors are non-spill so I would assume only a couple of mls at worst should be lost disconnecting them. I haven't found the number for the ssbrewtech...

    KegLand Questions and Answers

Haven't got one yet but may opt for the SS submersible one for reasons similar to Stevodevo - it appears SS Brewtech take the apple approach to design where they make everything incompatible with other gear. That being said if anyone has either the pump or the heat pad can you maybe tell me what...

    KegLand Questions and Answers

Just wondering could you remove 2 ss lines and have enough room for a submersible pump or do you have to take them all out to create the space?

    KegLand Questions and Answers

Gotcha. I suppose you could drill some holes in the lid and fit barbed bulkhead fittings like the ssbrewtech glycol chiller and use a submersible pump assuming it fits inside?

    KegLand Questions and Answers

There's a drainage port on the back where you could hook up an external pump to. Drain the glycol from the bottom of the tank, through your pump and chilling coil and then back into the tank through the glycol inlet (not the beer lines). That's how I saw it anyway. On top of that all you would...

@KegLand-com-au Do you have any updates on the cryo hops? I've heard rumours Bintani are not making these available to homebrewers this year...

    Matho's controller

Not sure if this is the right thread or not but here goes: I've got one of the Lael controllers and have been using it frequently for years now. A few niggles but that's more because I haven't fine tuned it enough (taking a long time to get the last couple of degrees etc.). I was wondering in...

    KegLand Questions and Answers

Yes your website now states the tolerance but it didn't at the time of writing. I'm sure this was all just an oversight rather than an international plot to dupe people out of 10g worth of hops.. It's no biggie, send the guys a free bag of hops and set your measurements to 105g +/- 5% until you...

Errmm I'm pretty sure its illegal to sell products that weigh less than the advertised amount: https://www.business.gov.au/products-and-services/selling-products-and-services/product-labelling/australias-trade-measurement-laws At the very least I would have thought some sort of reimbursement...

    KegLand Questions and Answers

I use one of those fine mesh stainless steel tubes. Chances are I might have drank some hops but it certainly wasn't noticeable if I did. One big dose open pellets in the fermenter and then a closed transfer on top of the cryo keg hops. Finally as good as the commercial hoppy beers.

Any updates on when and what cryo hops you guys are going to stock? My ipas have gone to the next level using these as keg hops. Hoping we may eventually get a galaxy variant.

FS: 110L Conical Unitank & Commercial Skope Fridge - Melbourne

Price drop and some potential info for interstate people: Asking $2300 for both. Willing (begrudgingly) to split so tank = $1800, Fridge with brewpi etc = $500. I've come across this site which may interest potential interstate buyers...

FS: 110L Conical Unitank & Commercial Skope Fridge - Melbourne

Bump. All reasonable offers considered. FYI: 9/10 I brew 40L batches in this tank. As the head space can be pressurized the extra volume is not detrimental to the final beer at all. If you have a house beer that is constantly on tap this will allow you to ferment and serve from the tank if...

FS: 110L Conical Unitank & Commercial Skope Fridge - Melbourne

Hi All, I am selling my unitank & fridge as I am not brewing so often and want to downsize. Unitank has an approximate volume of 110L and was designed by myself and manufactured by a large local engineering outfit. The tank was electro-polished, pickled & passivated in September 2018. Fridge...

$1500 to spend, what should I buy?

Robobrew, ssbrewtech unitank and a gas bottle would be a neat setup. You can always serve from the tank before you get your keg setup.
