If you got a sieve and cut the handle off, holes in the bottom and secured with silicone, how do you think that would work... or plastic bucket with a bag in it :S falsie seems like way too many coins for this kind of operation still waiting on results :icon_cheers:

Im liking the semi braumister process that Mark suggested above. any problems with using the plastic bucket? any benefits in a stainless steel bucket with mesh (i.e post 27 by Tim F) that would justify the cost?

yeah thats what id thought, a piece of hop flower probably made its way into the keg. Didnt think to put the gas down the pickup tube though... champion!

It was just some potting mix that i got from Bunnings... would that have caused the problem if the mix I got had really soluble fertilizer? Im thinking ill have a crack at trying to fix the EKG i have and replant another rhizome in the other pot. If anyone has any rhizomes let me know Cheers
