Anyone Serving Hot Kegs Through A Plate Chiller?

I was running through a copper coil when I first started brewing... not a good move as it turns out - finished beer isn't friendly to copper and you end up with tainted beer... Stainless coils are definitely the way to go there. Andy

    Melbourne Brewers Beerfest, 2013

Didn't you peg a triple at the pub a couple of years back when we were practicing? Spewing you won't be around - won't be the same without you old man! :) We'll have to catch up for a quiet one once I've got this house shifting thing under control... Andy

    Electric 70l Kettle

Alfie is right, the higher number of elements results in a reduced surface loading meaning lower chance or scorching, however I have never found that to be a problem. I run a 75 liter kettle with one 2400W convoluted element ( ie a U shaped element bent back on itself to half it's length), and...

Hey, while I'm still half awake, congratulations to Mark Davies from the Northern Territory, who picked up the coveted Braumeister 20L system from the "stainless Ticket" draw... Mark was one of the first people to buy his ticket to the conference, so it just goes to show the early bird DOES get...

Re:tickets... Q is right, accreditations will be available for pick up at the event. We had been hoping to send out "stainless tickets" to everyone, but I have hit a snag with the printing... Hoping to resolve that this week and still make a mail out date that will work. Andy

I finished homologating all the scoresheets last night around 3, so I'll try to get them uploaded to the site tonight (1G in size... I'll have to start archiving old sheets to make room...) Which leads me to a question that's a little off topic: is it worth me keeping the old sheets online...
