Well the court case last week is listed on Austlii, really it’s only house keeping and legal side stepping. Does it look bad? You be the judge! If you do read it (MCH vs Australia vs Kee Doery & Orr’s) You will notice posts off this site are quoted in evidence. So there is a bit of a warning...

Thanks for your response mate! I think you raised some good points. I’m not going to say anymore (as this is the Guten thread) other than I like your products! Being able to buy bits and pieces of the Brewzilla has allowed me to try new ideas at a price point that is not crippling. Again thx &...

Can you buy it as a spare though?

I think you are right on all counts WEAL. I currently looking at the latest Nano stuff on the CPB site and in all honesty if I had waited a few weeks the answers to all my problems are right there! I have basically turned the GF into a monster now & I have refitted a helix to one outlet and...

So in short - one major wholesaler in this country can have people slag off about there products and they have the right to respond. The other one can’t? I seem to recall a certain furore about a YouTube reviewer being accused of cash for comments about a certain review. By the way the reason...

I have been experimenting with this on my GF and a unit that I built with off the shelf parts. Obviously the supplied pumps are too small and can’t be modified so yes a second pump is needed. The experiments continue!

Look wider on the Internet and you will find that the good looking filter on the GF has heaps of problems. That’s why people (including myself) have been experimenting with Brewzilla false bottoms.

    KegLand Questions and Answers

It is but I guess it’s a bit more than an Inkbird. The Amp issue can be handled by SSR’s I guess, I wouldn’t think making everything 15 amp wouldn’t be too hard!

    Keg King S/Steel Uni tank

Yeah thanks for that WEAL, I was thinking more about my MJ fermenter ;) I did put some silicon under the clamps but it still leaks time for a new seal I think. Can’t wait for the new one though! Cheers

    Keg King S/Steel Uni tank

Well I pre ordered mine! Can’t wait! My fermentation is the right size, like I said previously - I mainly want it to harvest the yeast! Good idea re little G clamps WEAL. Might try that on my Mangrove Jacks fermenter!

    Robobrew V3 vs Guten

Well WEAL, I agree with your first statement - I think both systems have good and bad points and both systems have points I don’t like. That’s why I built my own! But I have to admit the new bottom plate for the Guten is impressive! And I like the Whirlpool attachment ideas! I disagree with...

This my home built mash together of parts and my heavily modified Grainfather - just in case you didn’t see the photos on FB

    Robobrew V3 vs Guten

WEAL, I appreciate that you have a view of the Kegland product vs Guten. You may have noticed I don’t accuse anyone being in the pocket of one or the other. I do know that David had some strong views re the Grainfather and it’s latest software update. I still believe that his reviews are honest...

    Robobrew V3 vs Guten

I think it was providing a bit of technical advice WEAL. And when I looked at the Guten compared to the BrewZilla, I agreed with David both assembled from off the shelf parts, in fact you could say from the same factory! Like I said the BrewZilla has all that insulation in the base, it also has...

    Robobrew V3 vs Guten

Wow mate! Have you ever watched the video about those particular accusations? If you have then what you said above is close to slanderous! I have spoken to David on many occasions and find him very knowledgeable and honest & if I was to choose who to believe him or anyone on this forum then I...

    KegLand Questions and Answers

Yes there is it’s called Smartpid and it can use up to 3 outlets to switch SSR’s. One of those is a dedicated to SSRs I run two 40 amp SSR’s and a 25 watt pump on one and a heater belt and fridge cooling unit on the other.

    Fermzilla

Thanks for that WEAL - I was going to mention where I used to work we made and filled plastic juice bottles & the clear plastic bottles were filled at temperatures above 50! Actually it had to be above 90 for shelf stability but below 95 or the bottle would melt! Glass on the other hand was 98!

    Fermzilla

So does everybody work for the suppliers? ;) Thanks for the info WEAL, found the info I was looking for on the other thread. Still deciding with that 50 Degree C limit I’m not sure if the heater belt in my fermentation fridge would be a good idea on the fermzilla Cheers

    Fermzilla

Mate I agree! I’m tried of the whole thing as well! I buy from who ever stocks what I want at the time. I have even paid a little more to get products to support businesses I like dealing with - then to get supplied KL stuff anyway. And when I’m experimenting KL gear is cheap enough to go “ oh...

    Fermzilla

I’m thinking the same thing! So the clamps on the Guten will handle a bit of pressure then? On the whole Fermzilla vs Guten thing, I don’t need to see what’s going on - I have a Plaato Airlock for that. I have used Mangrove Jack stainless fermenters in the past and I use an old keg to do...
