    PH meter buffering solution

Ah for calibration? I thought you meant you'd never need to measure something below 4.

    Unless you're talking sours.

    Mini keg esky build

I had the parts list already laid out so I didn't miss anything, also a few mockups I did in the process to assist people with understanding what I was asking for when looking for someone to knock up the CO2 adapter. Everything liquid wise is pretty straight forward, not much different than a...

    5mm beer line with a 7mm barbell?

I got a split host this way too but was before it was in use, thankfully. I haven't used a 7mm barb but do have a handful which are problematic. Strangely enough the 5mm hose with some stretching fits better and holds integrity better than the 6mm hose...

    Mini keg esky build

Cheers! Thanks again for that T piece, I did have a little trouble with those copper washers though I could never seem to get a great seal with them, bought some nylon ones from ATHB and they seem to do the trick. Maybe I was doing something wrong.

    Mini Keg Bulk Buy MKIV

I have another cheap esky that keeps beer cold for 24 hours, that's sufficient for what I need it for. This thing is actually thicker, so reckon it will hold up just fine. Whatever the situation, better than an esky with an open lid, a parka jacket or the foam ones. Purpose is mostly for...

    Dex in boil an issue?

Won't be any issues at all, in fact it's really better as it'll nuke any nasties on it (even though there's likely not)

Yeah Kmart, was on clearance at the time but worth giving it a look if they still have any. Being kmart it'd be some generic thing so some other store might have taken up the line. With the steel disconnects there's more head space than I'd planned for, also a little more free space in general...

Mine have fairly similar looking welds too, I did spot a couple of dents on the inside of the metal but hard to tell if there's an issue at the moment. Few other minor spots too but my cornies get these too. 90 minutes in hot perc solution, it lightly bubbled the WHOLE time but the solution...

    Wild Upgrade

Good stuff. Those blokes at cheeky peak are great, bought several things from there and will keep going back.

    Servicing taps, lube?

Get silicone ones, rubber are crap. I don't think the lube has any negative effect entirely, but I do find it dries a LOT quicker with the rubber ones... dries to almost a paste rather than a gel.

    Mini keg esky build

The eagle landed today, got to marking out holes for the taps, measuring line and fitting everything up. Lines are all snug with no leaks, will get the coke bottle and PET lid and do a wet run tomorrow. Running about 4.5 feet lines, planning on keeping dispense pressures low but if I really...

    ikegger?

Inappropriate. If you're going to poke fun do it in the main thread :P PS mine showed up this morning Grott, suspect yours would be in the back of a van.

    ikegger?

Has anyone done the shake method on low pressure? I was thinking they're a small enough size to shake about easily and if you just set it to your desired carb level you'll probably be done in 5 minutes (and a few hours to settle)

Too much wort for no chill cube?

Just make sure you let it cool before doing this, PET breaks down at 70C and you don't want those kinds of esters in your beer

Big Brother is now Watching You

I have a 50mbs connection, on VPN I get 45mbs on a slow day. I'm in Adelaide closest geographical servers in Melbourne but Sydney and US servers yield good speeds.
