    Huge batch pitfalls?

On that same note however you can get more in it, naturally, but the head space you'll want will be around about the same.

    Huge batch pitfalls?

Square cube law. The dimensions of the pot don't really increase that much while the volume does significantly.

    Huge batch pitfalls?

Not only is the grain bag just going to be hard to lift you're going to want a heck of a bag... 90L batches in a 98L pot? Think you might be underestimating how much head space you'll have / need, I have one of these pots they're 500x500mm. I do about a 65L boil for my 50L batches (50L in...

    Mini keg esky build

Hmm. Is a BSP thread going to be compatible with either the M8 or 1/4" FFL?

    23L keg usefulness

I would use it for serving, provided your setup allows for the larger profile. What are the dimensions? The only thing stopping me popping another 19L in my keezer is the height, if I had a shorter one I might be able to squeeze it in.

    Mini keg esky build

I wouldn't be confident that duct tape is actually holding it in, either... I wasn't able to find what you're looking for either, I ended up getting a hold of a male flare tee piece... I was looking for a 1/4 MFL to barb In my travels Tony121 was able to lend a hand and generously donated the...

    Mini keg esky build

Another thought - those short fat paintball tanks would probably go great in this thing, don't know what they're like value wise though...

    Mini keg esky build

Sensational - love that someone else has got something out of these eskies. If anyone sees them, buy buy buy!!!

    Mini keg esky build

Hasn't really warmed up, on ice... Even if it did, it'd probably only be a short burst. Come summer I may need to go back to the drawing board but I may have FC taps by then.

    Mini keg esky build

I can't remember but I think 3 feet? I can dispense nicely at 5 PSI, eventually I will get FC taps and shorten the lines. Also some more flexible line would be handy too!

    Mini keg esky build

I have one of those, I couldn't see how I could have made it work, by the time the spear and disconnects were on it was way too high.

    Intertap stout tap adapter

Do you have a nitrogen setup or do you just want a glass of foam?

    Mini keg esky build

Will remove the height constraint also. I wanted something that was self contained. Have my 2.6kg bottle inside my keezer too :P

    Mini keg esky build

Glad you managed to find one. I ended up mounting a down pipe bracket on the inner wall to hold the gas bottle in place, it kept shifting forward when there was ice in there. Does a good job used it 3 times now even less of a pain than trying to keep a bunch of bottles upright in a damn esky.

    Feeder Keg

So long as your keg is clean, wasn't infected, the last beer is compatible with the next - why not? The keg's still full of CO2 until the lid gets removed then the second law of thermodynamics kicks in and diffusion begins (the blanket is a lie), but if you pop the lid and fill it up right...

Honey for priming - how much

The amount of honey required is so low you'd never know it was there, it really is just an expensive and inconsistent way of priming :)

Help please Just finished doing a smash

Am I missing something here? You boiled for longer than you desired? If you just had a single hop addition, probably make zero difference other than losing a little more water to steam... If I'm reading right... Don't use another whirlfloc they're actually meant to be added at 20 mins anyway

Bubbles in beer line after the keg and before Faucet

CO2 pressure 12 PSI Line diameter 0.1875 (5mm) Vertical Distance Between Keg and Tap 1.5 feet Flow rate 10 seconds / pint Line length: 10.11 feet (I went 10.5ish) Solty's calculator got it spot on
