    Hop pest or disease troubleshooting

I'm having a similar problem. For mine I'm getting holes eaten from the middle of the leaves but haven't been able to catch the bug in action until today and it seems to be the bad type of lady bug, the orange one with seven spots or something ( there is a good one and a bad one ) and the other...

    Worst Comerical Beer You Had

You guys beat me to it, I was thinking of giving it to someone I don't like then thought I cannot dislike someone that much. I actually brought it as I read the fine print and saw that it had Pacific Jade and Dr Rudi hops in it and thought this would be somewhat tropical. Yuck.

First AG in my New Guten

The brew turned out well, it was received well by mates on tasting. I under carbonated so that was the main critique I got back. I used whole dried cones from my own harvest and they were quite aromatic at harvest as for what they bought to the finished product I'm not quite sure, I used them at...

First AG in my New Guten

Hi for what it is worth the very 1st brew I every made was my take on a Sierra Nevada Pale on my Robo V2. As follows. Have fun with it. Thought I'd post it after some of the conjecture over the addition of Perle, for me it was in some of the clone brews that I found.

    2019 Hop Plantations

Hi all All of my plantings have started to rise with the Dr Rudi plants going gang busters, I noticed that when I dug then up late winter that the root structure was far and away the most developed of all my plantings from 1st season cuttings, I was wondering if anyone else has had the same...

    2019 Hop Plantations

Hi Fungrel From a little trial and error last season I found it made no difference, being in boxes most of the plants are above the ground level of original soil, water logging isn't an issue and the only advantage I could find for mounding the soil would be that it would be marginally easier to...

    2019 Hop Plantations

Hi guys back again Just thought I'd put up up a few pics from time to time to show the progress of my hop garden. As I said in my 1st post I've upsized my rig from 8 plants to 24 with 11 varieties. The planter boxes are dug into the ground to try and help with containment and are 600mm deep and...
