    Growler etiquette?

In the US a lot of places won't fill a growler with branding from another brewery. Maybe it's a legal thing? But most WILL fill a growler that has some tape over the logo making it look more generic.

WTB: Used pin lock keg posts

I actually liked pin lock better. I felt they were easier on and off, and you can't mix up gas vs beer sides. But I traded em in for ball lock kegs because they are skinnier and I can fit an extra keg in my keezer.

    Gas lines

I just built my keezer. I used bevlex for the gas lines to avoid kinking, and valpar flexmaster for the beer lines to avoid any off flavours. Not sure if those are best, but so far they're working well.

Heading to USA in a couple weeks...

One more thought: some of the retailers have good deals / "deal of the day". Often includes free shipping. You could get something delivered to wherever you're staying and bring it back out here. I always liked the MoreBeer site (and they had a brick and mortar store close by in CA).

Heading to USA in a couple weeks...

When I lived in California, I went on CraigsList a lot to look at used gear. Prices vary but generally I found second hand stuff a little cheaper in the US. Weird stuff too... https://atlanta.craigslist.org/nat/for/d/homebrew-kettle-chiller/6468293482.html

    Moving on...

I had a buddy doing all grain, brewed with him a couple times, loved it, and then got a similar setup. 32 litre pot, gas burner, cooler mash tun. When I moved to Australia, I recreated it here. Biggest constraints are having an outdoor space to bring that much wort to boil on gas, and storing...

Which tap type for best pour

I'm in the same boat. Currently using a picnic tap on a long line of hose. My plan for a good pour at a decent price is Perlick 630ss. I'll control foaming using 10 ft of 3/16" beer line. I guess that's 3m of 5mm line? I still can't figure out metric.
