Wow good luck, hope all goes well mate. Would you consider holding off adding the raspberry until after primary ferment to get the most bang for your buck?
& how would you combat the remaining dried krausen around the top of the carboy after primary ferment settles down? I'd want to minimise hiding spots for evil.
Hi TB, I've also got the cheap ss pot. I think cutting out the quadrant or wedges would add strength & support for the mesh screen. With recirculating & due to the pot being thin, i think will need it.
Hahaha! Aaaah Cam. I laughed at the purple, i shrieked in horror at the oyster* aroma & then cried with delight that i was able to drag you back down memory lane to your previous beast devouring days ;)
But seriously thanks for your review mate. I've really enjoyed reading them all, bravo.
*no...
As TMB above mentioned, for me, the Hermit kit was a no fuss option, I just popped it into a 5lt birko urn with a STC1000 to monitor temps. Not perfect but an OK intermediate step.
Hi, Just had a look in compmaster & Australian pale isn't available in the pale section, is this part of the 'more to be published' lot, or style not being added?
Dear Mr AJ80, when bottling after this amount of time do you find there is still enough sugars left in the beer for the bugs to carbonate in the bottle?
I too loved this one's colour & aroma was incredible, but also think a touch more malt could have brought this into balance & would have been spot on for my tastes. Thanks v much Tim. Here's a picture:
