    Ss False Bottom & Fridgemate

Just been out and gave it a measure. It's 310mm dia. across the steel and looks to be approx. 20mm high at the centre. The copper feed pipe sticks out another 30mm or so from the steel.

    Ss False Bottom & Fridgemate

I've slowly been making some some changes to the brewery and have these surplus items: 1 Fridgemate. All wired up and mounted in a box. Plug the fridge in to it and connect an extension to it to supply power and you're ready to go. I had it hard wired into a box on the wall so there's no power...

Advice On Water Volumes With 2v Setup.

Just off the top of my head I think you'd be looking at small batch sizes with that setup... once the first run off is in the urn and the mash is still sitting the pot you've nowhere to heat the next sparge water....

    Just Some Questions Regarding Equipment

I have a 10A extension from an outdoor socket. It runs along the fence and under the eaves of the shed - powers the light, kegerator, laptop and drill press. When I'm brewing I only run the element though...

Frothie took a bunch of the 500's and some randoms in a couple of crates. he also dropped off a couple bottles of his IPA which I have to say went down nice while re-wiring my fermenting fridge with a new stc-1000. Iralosavic - when you're ready to come collect I have around 4 crates of bottles...

Up For Grabs: A ****-load Of Bottles

Crown seals. Majority are around the 330ml mark. Some are 500ml and some are also 750ml. Mostly brown - a couple of greeny grolschs in there. Mostly de-labelled. ALL EMPTY ;) Congrats Iralosavic! I'm in no rush - they're down the side of the shed under covers. I got Iralosavic's post reply...

Up For Grabs: A ****-load Of Bottles

Guys. I have about 80 or more bottles for anyone who wants them. I'm in Caulfield South. I'm keeping a few, enough for one batch, but the rest are redundant now with multiple taps on the go. Anyone who wants them come and collect them - and if you drop off a 6-pack of your finest I'll even...

    Providing Feedback For Comp Judges

I'm not sure a dialogue between judge and brewer is a good idea for many of the previous reasons... but my thoughts would be an entry should have at least 3 judges and the contestant should take an aggregate of the scores/opinions on the score sheets and is possibly what we're talking about...
