Sent a package of taps recently to an AHB member in NZ. At the same time I sent a stem and nut for a regulator to a member in QLD. The guy in NZ got his parcel the same day it arrived off the plane. I think the bloke in QLD is still waiting for his parcel.

It will give me nightmares tonight.

You could try making a straightener in a vice like this (Door rollers bolted in to rectangular steel tube): Pulling it through is quite a chore though, mechanical assistance may be required. EDIT TO ADD: Sorry, I misread your post. This won't work for you.

This may be a silly question as I am not familiar with the mini kegs, but is the vessel pressurised? Have you tried letting out the head pressure before attempting to unscrew?

Well, It looks like I get to keep my dust collector for a little longer then if that's sorted. :)

I converted the keg to snap lock fittings about 25 years ago to use as a detergent keg. It has a leak on one of the welds somewhere, but it's just one of those CBF things that I haven't gotten around to doing.

Now I just need to work out what to do with the keg it attaches to. :fallingoffchair:
