No Frills low cost pressure fermenting

I have done a bit of "moderating" and gone back over the last few pages to remove the reference/promotions etc of competitors and/or their products in this thread. I have not been able to go all the way back to the start of this thread because a) most of it is farily dated and been out for...

    Mistakes we have made

I still don't believe I know what I'm doing most of the time....But way back in 2013 there was a fad for what was called at the time "10 minute IPAs", which basically meant all/most the hops went in at the ten minute mark. In my ignorance and inexperience at the time I thought it meant a 10...

what gadgets do you guys need when you do home brewing?

Not sure from your site if this has similar/same features as Smartpid. "Simple GUI" - I have to look up instructions everytime I try to reset my ITC 308. these and PID type setting can be very confusing. "Programmable Step Mashing" whilst my ITC can do steps it does not take into account ramp...

    PET Kegs and more

@MHB As respected as you are on AHB for your great technical advice, posts like this and your earlier Ho Ho Ho one don't add anything constructive or of value. As per my previous post, I think enoughs been said to let people consider the paper and make up their own mind. I agree with @CEO...

    PET Kegs and more

My bad sorry. My post genuinely was a light hearted joke about a Xmas present....certainly didn't mean to start anything. I reckon enough has been said about the taste test to allow people to make up their own mind about. Let's leave it at that and not get into a **** fight that will derail...

    KegLand Questions and Answers

I'm sure its been mentioned somewhere in this 251 page thread, but.... In the new premises is there a walk in retail store, or is it still just online purchases and pick up from the lockers? How am I meant to hide purchases by paying cash??????

    Hopping

@David Bullen - the spreadsheet is awesome. I used it a lot when I used to do kit and kilo recipes. You can pick a style and them play around with the ingredients until the red recipe dot is as close to the blue style dot on the graph.

    Hopping

The amount of hops you want to use is going to depend on what style of beer you want to make. You could probably make a decent ESB with the Real Ale kit and some EKG hops There is a spreadsheet created by one of our members @ianh that is a great guide. You will find the thread about it here...

    KegLand Questions and Answers

Ok. I think the point has been made. If you wish to have an ongoing discussion about the environmental impacts of this or any other product please start another thread. The point has been put Kegland and they've answered. Let's leave it at that so as not to derail the thread.

    KegLand Questions and Answers

What are the dimensions of the bladders? Would they fit in a milk crate? If so would that help with moving it around, and perhaps even stacking.

    Grain for stout- soaking them

I reckon everyone's had their say on each other's response style, how they are perceived etc etc yadda yadda yadda. Let's just leave it there and get back to talking about grains for stouts.

Mini Reg vs Normal for party setup

It's the quality of the time that matters. It may have only been an hour before I pulled out.....but didn't hear you complaining. Now back to the topic of Mini-regs....before I have to moderate myself
