    Westy 12 any thoughts.

@Grmblz The vic case swap guys did a westy 12 collab at a swap a few years ago. Its a very long thread, about 20 pages, but there will be heaps of discussion on there about the recipe, yeast, fermentation and Candi sugar. I'm pretty sure it was the 2016 on at Cockos place. I'll try find you...

    PET Kegs and more

Chubby is great - The spunding valve is the hard bit. I have done a couple of brews - cant quite get the spunding valve right. It's either letting to much out or not letting anything out. But I shall persevere. I'm glad I grabbed a FK Junior while I was there - these things work great together...

Selling my Full Brew and kegging set up - 3 Vessel all grain, cornie kegs, co2 cylinder and lots more. Located in Brisbane

Brock. Adding your location to the post might help people considering it. Great set up. I'm sure it will sell. However I have no idea what the going price of a 3v system is these days... but I suspect all the robobrew, brewzilla, guten systems being so affordable has pushed the resale price...

    Green and enthusiastic

Hi @WilliamCanada Welcome to AHB. Just a heads up....As distilling is illegal in Australia we don't allow discussion relating to distilling on AHB. Although your post doesn't mention it specifically it - I assume from the general gist of it and the references to "heads and tails" that you are...

Whats a good extract kit to use a Philly sour yeast with

I've only used the Philly Sour once so far and will use it again (don't mind an occasional sour). For me its great because I'm basically a lazy brewer - and relatively impatient. So pitch it and away you go on your way to a sour. I've done a couple of kettle sours - and although not super...

Whats a good extract kit to use a Philly sour yeast with

Here you go @MHB https://www.lallemandbrewing.com/en/australia/product-details/wildbrew-philly-sour/ The brewing properties section talks about increased sour with more glucose

Whats a good extract kit to use a Philly sour yeast with

I'll have to go on a Google hunt when I'm in front of a computer (too hard for old men on a phone) But I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that using the Philly sour yeast you can increase the sourness by adding lactose. Stay tuned....I'll see if I can find it

I can't see anything in your profile that would block you from all threads except this one. My understanding is that it is done on a specific thread. I'll check with @AHB_Admin when I can for you. She is much more powerful than us mere mortal mods

    AHB Articles: ross method

I think you'll find "Ross" is @Ross from Craftbrewer. I have always wondered what was intended by "rocking" Is it laying the keg on the floor and rolling it back and forth? Ie rocking side to side. Or Is it picking the keg up holding it by the top and bottom and rocking it end to end? I...

    The Weekend is Here...I might have a Pint...or 2

I agree.... it's been tough, but I think the decisions of Chairman Dan and his Empire have been the right ones. Is much rather go through those conditions than the ones in the US right now. It still amazes me the number of tin foil hat conspiracy theorist out there
