Hop filter or hop bags for plate chiller?

I have always used the large hop sack from Craft Brewer, so cannot comment on how it affects the release of bitterness/flavor/aroma from the pellets, sure some out there has probably done both and can comment

    12V Little Brown Pump

I like Kaiser Soze bought two of them as I was told by the honest retailer that they are not built for endless use, (his words were, you get what you pay for) in fact he tried to sell me one of the bigger pumps but I didn't have a spot big enough on my system to fit it into without running hoses...

Hop filter or hop bags for plate chiller?

Hi Zarniwoop Like a lot of people, I have had a blockage in my plate chiller so know the importance of keeping the hop material out of the chiller. Its a bitch to clean out when i happens, not to mention having to pull the system apart mid brew really mucks up the brew day. I use hop pellets...

Need a new tap for my C02 cylinder cylinder

Simmerstat, Are They Good To Use Or Not?

When they are installed on a stove, you have the combination of the density of the element and the thickness of the pot base that holds heat and thus evens out the on's and off's of the cycle. If you have an element inserted into a pot of water, or wort, do dont have as much density so the ons...
