Yeah honestly can't tell you alllll the specifics, because I don't really care for the mega swill enough to discern its "flavours" e.g I haven't drunk truck loads of it. But pretty much wouldn't recommend any of those three if other things were on offer.

I tried it, think standard lager. I was fooled by the label once, and thought "hey maybe it'll be okay and I haven't had a standard beer in ages". So if I recall, was very tooheys new, carlton, standard lager, slight twang to it. Not really offensive sort of, but something slightly off putting...

Yeah the beer will be bottle soon and should be around 4.3-4.4% abv depending after bottle conditioning. I actually have bought some tooheys old to bring along and if the tooheys 1922 XXX is done carbonating, would be interesting to do a side by side. I have no clue if they'll taste similar.

Honestly looks good to me, late EKG is classic bitter territory for me. Not so much crystal in there that you won't get the good flavour of the base malt.
