    Yea I taped the probe to the fv with an old sock to the outside to stop the ambient temp being to much of a contributing factor, but I usually come home to find the duct tape falls of and probe is dangling inside fridge. My fridge is in a dark space

    Hi all, I am fermenting in a small wine fridge with a glass door, ( good for keeping temp as you don't need to open up the door each time to have a peek) using a temperature control set at 18degrees. Does anyone know the difference between ambient and actual temp inside the fermenter?

    Cheers mate , Meaning as soon as I filter the beer into the keg, place it in my fridge and pressurise it to say 10psi, can I disconnect then and leave it sit for a week? Or will that pressure be absorbed by the beer after a day or so, therefore having no pressure unless I connect it back to the co2

    sorry guys just asking another novice question, new to kegging, once pressurising the keg ready to carbonate and sticking it in the fridge, can you disconnect the gas connect and let it sit disconnected for a week or so,so i can turn the psi down to my pouring pressure? i only have one co2...
