Light dry malt extract boil/no boil

Are you adding any other hops to the recipe other than dry hopping? If not, you shouldn't need to boil the DME (just add it to the fermenter with the already bittered canadian blonde tin).

    WTB - Bottle Capper (Brisbane)

Chasing an adjustable 'super automatica' style bottle capper. Not too keen on the 2 handed variety or anything that requires a hanmer.

    FWK

Currently drinking the Obama IPA fresh wort kit from Craftbrewer, 20lt in the cube, just added 2 packs of dry american ale yeast, and dry hopped with 90gm of Amarillo. Tastes fantastic from the keg, even my mate who doesn't go for dark or hoppy beers loves it.

    Russian Imperial Stout

Cheers Yob. Unfortunately I don't have a 60lt fermenter, but I recently got one of the Coopers DIY fermenters (33lt with the krausen collar) off Ebay for $5 and thought I might give that a go (collar is supposed to move up & down with the krausen, and is then removed after it calms down). If...

    Feral Boris (Russian Imperial Stout)

Keen to try an Kit/extract + specialty grains RIS recipe, ideally looking to brew something along the lines of Feral's Boris (one of my favourite beers). Have seen a number of RIS recipes on AHB (such as Coopers 3 can & dex), but wanting to know if anyone has a recipe for something similar to...

    Dry hopper for corny keg

Has anyone tried using one of these to dry hop in a keg? Just seen it on Ebay and wondering if anyone uses one, and if so, whether they are worth the $90 they are asking (albeit with free postage from China).
