    Classy Party Setup

    Vic Xmas Anytime Case.

Thanks Darkhorse. I too think the roast has chased away the hops in this batch. Not that the style should be hop driven from what I've read. I've brewed a few batches of Porter & this was the first with US-56. I'll be keen to see how it mellows with a bit more age.

You might get empty longnecks from a local reception centre. Raid their recycle bin! :P

    Sources For Pots In Melbourne

Also, Footscray has some of the same stores. I found my monster pot in one of those 'everything' discount asian type stores. They had a SS 90 litre marked down. :) I'd looked in Victoria St Nth Richmond & found one discount cookware place too.

Time for an update. My brew is ready to deliver, as is Mark_M's, which I also have. He will be away at swap time. If anyone wants a drop off closer to the city I'm happy to take your brew to either swap venue. :)

    Worst Comerical Beer You Had

I'd second that. I can drink most beers if they don't have rafts of mold or mosquito lave swiming in them. That said I've just found a new "Worst Beer Ever" Brahma. I don't usally heap crap on the megaswill beers but this is nasty, cheap piss. I was given one for free. My friend said he...

New Mash Tun, Coleman 38 Litre.

Hully I picked it up from Plastics Unlimited in Krispy Kreme land for ~$86 (Fountain Gate, Narre Warren). They are closing down, so I'd be quick, 30% off everything.

I'm still keen. Not sure on drop off location yet, either way it's a trip from Northcote. If anyone is close by I could help with drop off.

New Mash Tun, Coleman 38 Litre.

Hi guys, I'm gearing up my AG equipment & bought a Coleman 10 gal / 38 litre cooler. Simular to this one - The inside view - I tested a Phils Phalse bottom at G&G and it won't work. The tap/hole is recessed but not quite enough for the phalse bottom to cover it. Also the shape is all wrong...

OK, You're Here And You Brew, What Else Do You Do?

Telecommunications technician turned IT/Stats nerd. Still do tech stuff were posible. Mostly just a cube dwelling corporate wage slave. Good money but too much corporate bull$h!t. I ride to work every day dreaming of working as either a cycle courier or brewer.

    Electric Kettle

arthur A switch could be installed to disable the thermostat. You could then use the urn either way. Where about in Melb town are you? Someone handy could help you out if they live close by. B)

I'd be in if Tin Opener brewers are welcome. I've got a partial robust porter thats coming along. What's the plan? Does everyone put in 12 longnecks & get back 12 mixed. Hmm... I've done stubbies....
