I had not seen the hydra tapping heads for the polymer kegs. Those are great (and make it easier/cheaper to transition to this type of smaller keg/larger bottle).

Looks like they got a handle on it. KegLand updated the photos of the 8 liter polymer kegs, which now show a new, yellow handle (and maybe raised the price a bit). So perhaps the handle issue is worked out, and these will be available again soon.

KegLand updated the product photos on the website. The metallic and clear plastic version photos are now replaced with a more generic amber/dark brown version (and the new photos notably don't show the detachable handle =c) ). So maybe the updated photos suggest they will be available again soon.

I checked the measurements on new oversized malt pipe, and it looks like it would physically fit in older generations (at least the 3.1.1 I had onhand to measure), BUT it would sit REALLY low and require some type of work around for the second bottom screen. I think you could physically get it...
