    Australia Post Problems

The reason I did not buy direct from TWOC (After being asked by Fred to do so) was because of their horizontal approach to running a business and the fear of something like this happening...My mill getting "Lost" In the end I emailed fred with my concerns and arranged to buy direct from him, I...

    Grain Mill @ Grumpys $160

Looks like a trip to get a new (Cheap) drill from bunnings is on the cards then. I thought the speed of my drill was too fast so something I can torque down a bit would be handy too and then you can grip the chuck with a gloved hand for extra control.

    Grain Mill @ Grumpys $160

Sorry to take this slightly off track here but do you find the speed of the drill has a major effect on the crush you get with your mill? I have the cheapest 2 roller from Crankandstein and have only used it once but can't help thinking my drill is spinning way too fast for the mill (It does not...

    Australia Post Problems

I have never dealt with them either, but when I did ring and email they seemed offish and uninterested, they were supposed to email me with prices but did not, they said they would ring me but again no phone call. I agree with the original post that this mill should of been sent by recorded...

    First Ag

I got it down to 24C in around 25 minutes. I had a half bag of ice in the freezer and used it from the start of the chilling process, maybe next time I will let the water do its thing first then add the ice and maybe gain a degree or two?

    Australia Post Problems

Sorry to hear about the mill problem mate, I really am. I tried and tried to get in touch with TWOC to buy a mill when I heard they had stock but they struck me as unprofessional and this made me reconsider and order direct from Fred in the US, I had my mill in under 2 weeks from him andit...

    First Ag

I am finally a member of the all grain club and it was nowhere near as hard as I thought it would be, nothing went wrong (Apart from adding too much hops but that was human error, my system worked very well) and I had plenty of time between steps to prepare the next step and visualise what I...

I have been busy tinkering (You could tinker forever) With my setup and have decided I am as ready as I will ever be and am going to have a go at my first AG sometime this weekend. Slots Or Holes

Eh, Batz is that a thermometer probe I see sticking through the wall of your cooler? Does it give you an accurate temp and how did you seal the hole? I too have a braided manifold, yet to be broken in but I am sure this is the way to go.
