Started extract brewing in 1968 before it was legalised. could only get one brand of malt extract and small boxes of P.O.R. hops that weren't even in an inner plastic bag. No stainless steel we all used enamelled cookware. Home brew shops started appearing around 1970 three years before it was legit.

Things have just got better and better. I now have a shed full of brewing bling.

Got all the latest gizmos. Mash widgets and sparge thrusters.

One constant problem I've had in all my years of brewing is, who's stealing my fermenter grommets?

I usually end up using a short piece of vinyl tubing.

What I don't spend on home brewing, my wife squanders on food and clothing.
