    Identifying unlabeled malt

I brewed a pale ale that should be similar to a 4 pines pale ale with it.

    Identifying unlabeled malt

Cheers, I did a bit of a visual, taste and then made a small mash using 30g of malt and 100ml of water comparing it to BB Pale. Anyway I am pretty convinced that is what it is and I used it in a pale ale ale.

    Identifying unlabeled malt

So I have found a container of unknown malt (~16kg) that suspect it is Barrett Burston Pale Malt. I must have put in it in there about a year ago without any labelling. Based on the quantity it could also be Weyermann Premium Pilsner malt, Weyermann Vienna or Marris Otter. What do you think...

    KegLand Questions and Answers

Would Kegland consider making a tee piece to suit a soft drink bottle? It could have a female-male-male soft drink bottle threads. Dangerous "Kegland" sticker on Co2 bottle

I started going to Frank in Mayfield West after buying a Keg Land cylinder when someone put his details up in another post. He charges $30 for a 6kg cylinder and will fill it in about 5 minutes while you wait.

They do make a great keg fridge. I have an old one, it had and analog probe and used to cycle quite frequently. I disconnected the analog and installed an STC-1000. I put he NTC probe in a 2L aluminium asahi bottle/can filled with water, this dramatically reduced the cycle frequency, but...

    Mash thermometer help

It looks the same as one I have that is a total immersion. Also given that I cannot see a partial immersion line this would also indicate it is a total immersion thermometer. This means that it needs to be in the liquid being measured to at least the temperature you are measuring. It makes sense...
