    Brisbane Water Chemistry

I have only been brewing for about a year so not an expert but I live in your area so would have the same water. I have filtered water that removes chlorine but I did notice an improvement in my beer when I started using meta bisulphate to treat for chloramine. The disclaimer here is that I...

    G’day from BrisVegas

I have used the 35L digiboil for the last 6 months. I am a fan but there is not a lot of headroom when boiling 28L for a 23L batch In saying that considering it was $180 cheaper than a 40 L option I am still happy with mine

When using an ale yeast the flavour profile of the Pilsner malt and Saaz hops did not really work together all that well. I made beer, but it was just a little...

    Corney fills Brisbane

Loose moose are great if not too far from you. Most craft breweries need you to leave your keg overnight which means 2 trips but loose moose will fill your keg in 15 minutes

    What are you brewing 2022

Just put a hoppy days APA all grain kit in a cube. Will pitch yeast tomorrow. Fairly new to brewing and this was my first BIAB brew in my new digi boil urn. so much more enjoyable than an old stock pot on a gas burner.

    My first brew

Only 4 months ago and I didn’t have any plans so dropped into a LHBS. They spent so much time helping me understand everything I felt obligated to buy a starter kit. I also wanted my first brew to taste good so I purchased a fresh wort to safely get the feel for it. Even though all I did was...
