    Beeriodic Style Table

Just had this poster delivered about a month ago from the US of A. If I find a big enough scanner (I doubt it), I'll scan a colour copy. Or I can try scanning multiple sections of it and try and piece it together, but I don't know if that will end well.

    Cascade 1st Harvest.

I remember the james squire hop thief 07 (same style of beer, unless someone wants to correct me) was great. I remember tasting a bit (or alot) of cascade and nelson sauvin hops in there. Unfortunatly I talked to one of the people at the James Squire brewhouse last night, and the said it wasn't...

I post up everything i need to know about my brews (number, name, recipe, brewing notes, tasting notes, hydrometer readings, brewing and bottling dates), and if others read it they can even post up comments about the brews (but i dont give my link out ;)...

    Melbourne Water

Unboiled tap water. It has fluoride in it. Means the beer is good for my teeth right? :D

Keeping Track Of Your Brews - Labelling & Notes

I bought one of those boxes of 900 white dot stickers, about 2cm in diameter. They fit perfectly on a crown seal cap. After bottling, I chuck one of these on every bottles cap, write the number of the brew on it, then chuck em in my beer storage chest. To find out what the numbers correlate to...

    5l Party Cans In Oz?

The ones I have seen are Heineken, Lowenbrau, Bitburger, DAB, Warsteiner, Konig Pilsner and Franziskaner. I bought the Bitburger one (came with a free 500mL stein B) ), the beer was very average, kind of like a generic lager. It also sprayed in my face while I was trying to open it :( I...

Homebrewer's Beer On Tap At Transport

mm. The amber was brewed by a young guy who brewed under the name "Ocean Lager" I believe. It wasn't too great. He mentioned that he wanted to brew beer that you could drink, not a connoisseurs beer. Although, he was only pulling out 60L batches, so maybe he just entered the market a bit too...

Homebrewer's Beer On Tap At Transport

"Fed 5 Weizen" I believe it is called. To celebrate Federation Squares fifth birthday. Free bottle with the first 50 pots purchased ;) :P You were close though! I can't wait to give it a shot. Hopefully it will last until Tuesday, which is when I'm normally there.

No Hops But Herbs - Homebrew?

I found their new lemon myrtle wit to be very... very... different. If I remember correctly, it tasted way to planty, like I was eating leaves. It is definitely worth a try though, it may just not suit my style. On the other hand their Black Wattle Original Ale was great! I believe that one...
