    MillMaster v MaltZilla Mills

Just adding from personal experience that the rubber spider damper used in the direct drive is a consumable part and will ware out (how quickly will obviously depend on usage rate), just something to be mindful of. I personally have milled literally tons of malt through my mill, no sign of...

    MillMaster v MaltZilla Mills

Everything was off ebay, motor (0.75hp with 19mm shaft), pulleys, V-belt and switch. Pullies you'll need are 10" with 1/2" bore and a 1.25" with 3/4" bore no keyway. Belt size will need to be calculated for your setup, here is a neat little calculator. Yes, I am really happy. Great consistant...

    Black Rock Failure

Sounds like a sanitation issue. Calling Fair Trade or Lion for this is like calling Betty Crocker complaining that your vanilla cake mix burnt. Are you adding your yeast to pre boiled and cooled water to rehydrate? It isnt particulary nessecary when doing a standard strength brew with healthy...

    Galaxy hops?

Ask these guys if they'd be happy to post over, pretty reasonable prices for 500g packs. https://matesratehomebrewsupplies.com.au/products/au-galaxy?variant=42123994562754

    Electric Control panel

This is my panel I wired up a few years ago based on The Electric Brewery build guide. Let me know if you need any info, also running a 32a circuit and 5500w elements in a 120L system.

    Electric brewery options

I highly recomend a Cheeky Peak Nano system, by far the most reliable and you can upgrade and adapt everything.

    Show us your grain mill

I use to use one of them, loud as buggery they are "seeingstars: but work well if it has a speed controlled trigger.

    Nano vs Brewzilla or Guten

I had never used the BIABasket 1v Nano prior to purchasing my 3v, I had borrowed a smaller 3v system before making the purchase of mine and prior to that was brewing on a ghetto cooler tun 2v system using a HDPE fermenter as my sparge water vessel after heating it in my 30L BCF pot. I have used...

    Nano vs Brewzilla or Guten

I would direct you down the path of the 50L Nano BIAB or the 70L if you plan on doing double batches down the road. The Nano is by far the most customisable and repairable system. I went the 125L 3v route and have never looked back.

    Bavarian Weissbier Tips

I found the same thing when I trialed it when I couldn't get WLP300. I save a few vials of yeast and make a starter for the next Hefe brew.

    Lallemand Philly Sour yeast

I really enjoy using the Philly yeast in my sours. My last Raspberry Berliner Weiss came down to 3.2pH and I quite enjoyed the clean lactic sourness. https://share.brewfather.app/gzZ2XyCuP3ihxV

    Bavarian Weissbier Tips

I keep going back to this Hefewezen recipe of mine and it's always a winner. I like more clove so I ferment WLP300 at 17⁰, also throw in a little Aurora Malt. https://share.brewfather.app/KxD0ZnFhrQDYSW
