Im lovin the cold weather. Out in my garage its cold enough to get lagers happening... so i got two brewing away right now. And in the spare room, with a heat belt, its the right temp for doing ales... so i got an ale happening there too.

I wanna start AG brewing soon, and i think it would be ace if i could get an empty 50L keg or three to brew in. Apart from going round the back of a pub and doing a runner with some empties, is there a legal way to acquire kegs? Anywhere that sells them (in the Sydney area)? Would it be worth...

Wow. Apologies for starting such a controversial thread. But I was under the impression this section was for talking about food ya eat when drinking beer... and as I was sitting on the lounge drinking a beer, eating my leftovers, it seemed somewhat appropriate. With that being said, I can see...

I had tacos last night, and i still got plenty of taco mince left over. Ive been known to make pies using the leftover meat, or put it in toasted cheese sandwiches. Both are pretty awesome. But what else do you guys do with leftover taco mince??? Gimme some ideas... Cheers Rother

When ya get it, make sure you upgrade your sound card too. Dont run it on the on-board sound card. I would cry if you did that...

I got the Logitech Z-5500 here... AWESOME sound system... nice and loud...

Like the others have said... the yeasite bits get lazy when its too cold... They might like to be a bit warmer. Also, Ive started rolling my bottles every few days... to stir up the yeasties at the bottom of the bottle that arent doing anything... kick them back into action...

I have been playing around with it. But I though the coopers peoples must of had something in mind when they decided to bottle their beer this way. Trying to figure out what they were thinking. But Im thinking I like having a bit of the sediment in the beer... but that last mouthful with a heap...
