Ive had 2 bottles of coopers pale ale that i am planning on using to reculture, i have done what the wiki says and pored into a glass then sealed the bottle quickly. They have been in the fridge like that for about 3 weeks now so do you think they will still be alright to use now?

Gday, I was just looking at the beeriodic table and the tripel style beer took my fancy, so has any got a good receipe for a k&k Brew? Im not the most experienced brewer but am up for a bit of a challange to see what I can do to beers normal flavors, but the simpler the reciepe the better...

Ive decided to keep them now as ill run a 3 keg setup and keep the 4th as a spare unless i can use to swap for a co2 bottle. sorry mate

Every one seems to have there opinions on what there worth but im the one trying to sell them and its not helping with the sale. I reckon ill hang on to them for now so consider them SOLD !!! Ill stick to the local rag when selling brew gear from now on i spose.

WOW, I never knew brewing could get so complicated but from the sounds of it very satisfiying. from what ive read and the pictures ive seen i wont be living in the house very long if i started here, alot of mess and room needed THE MISSUS WOULD KILL ME

Its spinning me out too !!! But i want to take another reading lol, probaly used a stubby on samples already :) i fll the sample tube 3/4 then slowely lower the hrdro meter in and give it a small spin then put it on the bench so it sits off the edges of tube and then take the reading

the yeast i used was safale s-04 which came out of the fridge at the brew shop and is ment to be good quility yeast i was told.

It smells and tastes nice. I only tasted the sample tonite as it looks nice and clear now and yer tastes like beer! Just poured a little samp them and it has a very sweet almost fruity smell. there is a krust around the level where yeast was added and the top has sections of foam bubbles and a...

Ive just checked the brew again and its now at 1000 sg. do es anyone know when it should slow up? it just keeps goin, 10 days now !!! plus just curious but if ur brew is infected will the sg continue to fall?

The chunks are all gone and its looking to be a nice brew, og was 1050, sg was 1010 2 days ago, 1006 yesterday and 1003 just then so works out to 5.7% alc vol. 9 days its been in the wort now, ill check it over the next couple of days and wait to see when sg has stopped, fingers crossed it...

its a coopers kit and yer theres no way it would fit through the sediment filter on the end of the tap so i think its done its own thing it the tap after adding yeast thats y the chunks came out.

Where do you get them that cheap? The brew shops sell for approx $150 each. Im not out to rip anyone off or make a quid, Im just goin on what i think there worth. Ive looked on ebay etc etc and with out delivery I think this is a reasonable price plus i didnt say im not open to offers.
