    Butane, octane, Ethanol, LPG, chains, dicks, tits, ass, girls, school and even OH&S! I just want to keep my beer cold.....but cheers for the ideas and entertainment.

    Cheers Jake the tub of cold water sounds good...next time! and Hendo i could of bought a NEW fridge with the money i spent running the A/C unsuccessfully trying to cool my beer. Only prob. is no space for a second fridge. I could always just look at the forecast and avoid the adelaide heat wave...

    the best beer ive made so far was bottled after 41 days. It took a while to brew but i was also busy for a week or 2.

    Air temp. was 20 by night 35˚c + by day and the brew temp. 25-26 for 5 days. So not looking to hopeful but might bottle it, can always give it away!

    Ive got a fat yak style ale kit on the brew. I used the yeast with it (us05). due to the HOT weather my brews been around 25-26˚c for 5 days. Is it possible its going to be any good? and what can go wrong with high temp? sg started at 1046 has stoped at sg1014. for a few days.

    Sorry not a beer topic but still alcohol related. Ive got 2 bottles of 1972 Wynns Romalo vintage champagne (got it from an old uncles cellar about 15 yrs ago) and dont know much about it. Is it any good? shound i drink it? keep it? mix it a brew??!! even sell it on ebay?

    Cheers guys for all the ideas. Cant wait to drink a few. Just hope i can brew them up as easy as it sounds. If my cascase pale is anything to go by ill be waiting a while. its at 1012, constant 18-19˚c and bubbling nicely. ITS BEEN 28 DAYS! last brew was bottled after 27 days.

    Brewed a Cascades Chocolate Mahogany Porter about 8 weeks ago (first brew in a long time). Added 500g coopers enhancer #1 and 12g finishing hops. The kit yeast didnt take so added a larger Yeast a few days later. Took 48hrs to get going Brewed around 18-20˚c S.G started at 1046 and bottled it...
