I've got a 2.6kg bottle that was full one week ago.
I had it in my fridge connected to a keg.
I noticed the other day that the temp was a little to cold and turned it down,( so I thought ). It turns out I made the fridge cooler and froze my keg.
I'm not to worried about the keg as the beer...
Sounds like a lot of variables to consider and maybe not give THE BOTTLE up just yet.
I would prime with suger and leave for 4 weeks under the stairs in the dark. I would also try one a week and record the difference in tasts.
One more question....what do you pefer?
I just set up a kegging system and can not believe the improvement it has made to my beer.

I just picked up 2 balllock kegs for $40 a pop...the lady has about 50 of them but be pre warned some are not complete. The two I picked out may need new seals but other then that are great...she is located on the gold coast and wants to sell them all..
Thanks Argon, 50 mins will be fine....its looks like a great. Well established group. It's a shame that the coast hasn't something similar. When do you all meet up Argon?

Hey all,
I have moved from Melbourne to the gold coast and have been doing kits for almost two years now. Kits have been a great way for.me to understand sanatation and the brewing process. I have just started to do largers and find the different technique interesting.
