    Sorry to stir up an old thread, but I hate things that are not correct :icon_offtopic: : It is the CHLORIDE ions (or Fluoride in some places) in water that is generally responsible for that kind of corrosion, NOT Sodium. Stainless Steel kegs should be pretty resistant to most caustic line...

    Just grabbed one for $26 at the Kippax Aldi in Canberra. They still had HEAPS left (at least 12 from what I could see). I got a BLUE one (yes, colour matters. It has to match the rest of the esky decor) :D Now to work out the best way of keeping the pluto gun and beer lines cool...

    Woolworths Canning The Cans?

    Yeah, I was told a while ago that Coles stopped selling them (all the brews were 50% at least). That was about 6 months ago. Looks like I'm off to Woolies to grab as many Dark Ale and Stout kits as I possibly can! (if you'll excuse the very amusing can pun)
