    Coffee Infusion

+ Yep for cold infusion. I added 500g (I think, cant remember) of freshly ground coffee (I get mine from Di Bella, Bowen Hills, Brisbane. This place is awesome for coffee fans, no connection etc) to a 3lt plastic bottle of still water (I was thinking sterile + pure + no oxygen?) for about 4...

    Is This Regulator Any Good..?

beerforal- think your right on it being a limiter, the 5th picture has text saying "easy to limit co2 lever", to bad. thanks for pointing that out. Money is not the issue for me here (although its a bonus). I wanted something small and compact. I actually have a spare regulator but can't source...

Can anyone see any problems with this regulator (besides it being cheap CRAP that is!). The specs seem right from my research. What do you make of the outlet connection? ebay CO2 Threads Valve connections Im looking for a compact regulator for my portable rig. It would only get used...

    Right Angled Soda Stream Adapter

Hey, I just bought a soda stream adapter on ebay for my planned mobile rig. Of course after I purchased I decided I wanted a right angled one for space reasons, like the ones currently unavailable at craftbrewer. The craft brewer right angle adapters look...

Pour Too Slow On Dorado (celli Knock Off) Taps

After carefully looking at the internal components and how they work, I reckon; The tolerance on their machining is pretty shit house, (If that's the right terminology), as you might expect for $50. I noticed certain internal holes are in slightly different positions on each tap. This might...

Pour Too Slow On Dorado (celli Knock Off) Taps

My kegerator under question is a converted chest freezer with a collar using dorado flow restrictor taps from pinnacle. even with the flow problem I still think they are so far great value for money at $50 a pop and would still buy them again. Straight through the recessed collar, too easy.

Pour Too Slow On Dorado (celli Knock Off) Taps

Its good to know some other people are experiencing some problems and that some are working well. I get the feeling there must be some kind of internal alignment that I might be missing or an adjustment that can be done to fix my problem. The taps originally came with a elbow barb to suit large...

Pour Too Slow On Dorado (celli Knock Off) Taps

Need some trouble shooting ideas..... Recently built my converted chest freezer kegerator using dorado brand celli knock offs from pinnacle and am pretty happy with it for the economy effort . Problem is, the pour is too slow, even at maximum flow restrictor setting. The flow is maybe half of...

    Chest Freezer Size

Cubbie, Im working on my kegerator right now.... Its a 150lt kelvinator (model H151T ?, oldish). My model DEFINATELY would not fit three on the floor, only two. Mine just fits four with a collar (tight in one direction --> Two on the hump, two on the floor). I can just fit my 2.6kg gas bottle...

    Rogue Kegs

Would people in Brisbane be interested in purchasing Rouge kegs for a similar price? ($140 as per Jayse post). This might be the economical justification for stocking it... Would be strictly cash on pickup from the CBD. I don't have a personal business interest in this whole thing, but I do...

Kk Co2 Bottles - Any Good?

For Brivegas brewers..... Im about to purchase one. There arent many "Keg King refill stations" in brisbane but I called James at Wacol Brewers choice (as per KK website) and he said he definitely fills them (he was very chirpy and confident about that) and he quoted $20 for the refill! All...

    Rogue Kegs

Does anyone have any experience with Rogue kegs? My work is considering trying rogue beers on tap, thing is they have to buy the actual keg outright. I believe they are 20Lt kegs probably taking a D-type coupler (havent been able to chase down the specifics off the beer dudes yet). Im in...
