What Do You Do With Your Used Grains After Mashing?

I'd reckon the local farm or chooks would be your best bet. A distillery I worked for had a deal going with a local farmer, spent grain for steaks and I know several commercial microbrewers that have deals going for eggs/meat. It's apparently FULL of good nutrients for edible animals, like a...

    Kosciuszko Pale Ale.

Kosi is likely made at a Lion facility, whereas Snowy Mountains is made at AIB. http://www.ratebeer.com/brewers/australian...t-brewers/6474/

I could be wrong, but was of the opinion it was brewed under contract.

    Stout Recommendation

FWIW I think it's lovely to see someone calling them tins. I'm guilty of caving in to the can demands, but back to tins is where I should be going. Good on you!

    Kosciuszko Pale Ale.

At the risk of derailing the thread, Chuck Hahn makes (largely) beer for the masses. The I don't see any of your beers on the shelves argument is a futile one as you're coming from entirely different perspectives. You're seeing Hahn as a successful brewer in the beers for the masses, whereas...

    Cheers Craftbrewer

All you need do is convince the children and/or partner that it's just like milking a cow - only it's beer and not milk. If you sugar coat things, they're easier to sell ;)

    Kosciuszko Pale Ale.

Haven't tasted it on tap, but the packaged stuff is literally given away with wine orders from FWP. I don't think much of it packaged.

Lookin' For A Good Commercial Stout!

I find it difficult to pigeon hole stout - as there's so many variances within the style itself. Here's a few of my favourites, all of which I'm well & truly happy to drink if I'm in the right mood. I've tried to sort of categorise them - but it's only my taste and my opinion, your experience...
